She walked in…
Her eyes an emblazened dare of precipitous switchbacks,
unspeakable fires from flames born long ago the spark they shone…
Red husky template of woman who belongs solely in her own skin,

her skin like sun warmed earth,

her skin the reverie and ecstacy of the manifest made good….
With her Smoky pearl and fire-scorched song,
Her unbroken hymn and hallowed hero’s tongue,
she asks if you would heed her call and with her dare
the narrow road that is your salvation.

Molten by design, licked by flame and by the first true sign,
she wants nothing more than your promise to follow her down
deep down into her volcanic lava swirls where release is the only way…
Her bosom filled with your bleeding heart no longer lost in uncertainty
but instead beating strong, awakened to your deepest, most arduous, ardorous, red pulsing rhythm song…

Lit up. Shaken down. Kicked back to the time when the fire and the night were as one
She knelt and kissed your brow and there left the scorched mark of your initiation,
the flesh-born talisman of your rebirth into and from her arms…..

In her presence the earth gave way to the stars and lifted and folded and opened unto their blazing medallions of eternal birth and glow, reaching higher and higher that they might touch…Like you, new and trembling….
Red Dragons of delight danced widely and galloped valiantly like so many awakened dreams into the skies of your newly-won back heart and she, she who stood in pride and in awe, she who knew the backwinds of time like the very curves of her own flesh, she who was merciless in her love,
ceaseless in her song, back-lit and fired up by the light of the suns of all worlds colliding…She, your eternal lover, mother and mind. She, the answer to your every desperate prayer.

She had it all and gave it all and gave it up and gave you back your body and your name that freedom may reign, that none may be tamed or lame or shamed, that life may course on and rise up to meet the heated and wild glories of the dawn, that you may be born again…

The Skies Reach down and bend to Our Ears
Reminding Us to Listen to the Chimes of Dawn Arriving
All that was ever Clear and Just and Holy will Awaken
In the Course of these coming days
And the spell of disenchantment will come undone
The Skies will grow Resplendant in Rays of Colors Undescribable
The Days shall Call out in so many Hallowed Tongues and Enraptured Songs of Return
The Clouds will part and Reveal Star upon Star upon Star-
Countless and Incandescently Shining in their Glory
And In the Mirror of the Skies,
We will Know that We are the Chosen Ones,
The Ones of Might and of Annunciation
Heralders of the New Dawn Arising in
Untold Brilliance Strung with Golden Harp Strings
and Diamond Sharp Rains
Blue Skies Dancing
and Emergent Sighs of Release and of Ageless Wonder

Fireflower

I will come to you with kisses born of an unbound meteor

and offer these forces as prayer for your life.

I will burn in the passion and the splendor of the rose;

its naked seed shorn and fragrance native born

in the fires of our first dawn

I will light the petals of our sylvan song

with aurora sheen and violaceous scream

and swim far and dive deep, deeper still

into our ruby waters teaming….

I will bring the sky down into scarlet roots

touching, clutching, suckling, soaking in

the red richness of our earths colliding,

I will harness the flares of the sun

and lick back their curved and fevered heat

into our reverie, skin on skin.

I will tear from these eyes the song of sorrow

and in its place

paint a fiery constellation of night flowers blooming

And upon you

I will look with heated gaze the pride of tigers,

cast from windstruck wings the victory of birds…

I will give the fires of our wombs new names

thick and dripping with worthy sweetness and daring praise.

and traverse the wild underworld of your cascading cups of orchid wine;

Deep springs the mother of your surging light

You taste like violet flowers fresh blossomed

out of ice fields melting into honey

under daybreak sun,

like the original night bloom of the white cereus

inside an indigo dusk,

like chocolate, like mint, like mist,

like the musky tear of a she-lion,

like a woman in love….

I will consume the hungry torch that is your heart

until you are drowning soft inside the mysteries of mine;

Reborn into new skin subtle and earthly shining,

this touch and the song of my lips your way back home

I will take you in and breath naked fire into your lungs

and dance the dance of the ages on your far arching rooftops

hung with old world lantern and blood orange coal

I will speak the vivid tongue of the gods onto your flesh

as your hips in proclamation raise to the rhythm of the dialect of surrender….

and in the silence that follows, I will open thee even more,

the rose within the rose within the rose

I will at last offer my scorched dagger,

blue winged tears tarnished on this eternal heart,

and let you cut the ropes of my own binding

and listen as I bleed out rivers of lava hot blood from the depths of my love

and hold this beating thing close as you would a child or a bird or a seed

and see that the tender way is at last

sown and grown and shone

in the trusting hands and succulent lands of love,

this fire flower burning…

Homeland- For what was once my name is now a field of perfect stars, from their shining constellations I come and to their infinite arms I roam. Balanced in a rapture between worlds, long held velvet nights on the edges of the quickening fire pulses of dawn, I have come to bless this world with the gift of song-slivers and shimmers of silver drenched melody making its way through the caucaphony of noise trembles and mire. I have come from worlds far and loft, their spells and murmurs awake in my bones, telling of lifetimes gained and lost. Lavender skies unwind in my smile as deaths ringing culprit surrenders its clutch and I find myself spinning in infinities touch- it’s vast array of color and sound the constant companion to this flesh life- a reminder for all what stretches beyond this seeming sight. I know pain and its workings. I live in a state of ceaseless sorrow. I know of something so beautiful, and yet I forget how to spell out the letters and the stories of these places so real inside. And so I come to this threshold moment in time to herald the verge of my awakening –to call forth what has once been lost that perhaps my spirit may know the taste and the feel of its own release. I come back to the place I started from.

There is more.
There are the trees and the rivers and the oceans and the skies.
There is the laughter which dawns on the whisper of a beloveds smile,
the thunder we call upon to know.
There are the memories of something we have not yet forgotten-
winter hibernations set light to the calling of tomorrows spring.
There is magic not yet told- he whos heart surrenders and has seen
the farthest reaches,
the corners and the open fields of his soul.
There are the days you awake and cannot move from your sphere of
treachory or of fear.
The days when the storm is too violent to bear.
But truly can you stay here, in the comfort of this sheltered
harbor, when there, just outside, the winds are calling your name?
What voice led you here but the one that quietly said, “live, live
your dreams”
Where the shadows and the impossible beauty of the light you carry
take their places side by side,
Where the murmur of a thousand mysteries rattle in your chest.
They lie there, waiting to be born , rapturous, intent, full of all
the workings of all that has ever been spoken or realized,
of all that was ever given from the tireless, booming, aching
breath of love.
What skies have you not yet touched- your gentle hands uplifted to
greet the rain,
What truth have you not yet spoken, to the one you love, to the
place within tapping at the roots of your soul?
What voices allowed that you could possibly hold back when the
thousandfold virtue of the heavens rest solidly within your veins?
What promise comes that you cannot keep, when this earth, her love,
still beckons you to be your own?
Like you, I am awaiting this grace, as a child awaits the milk of
her mother-
mouth agape, fingers grasping, body hungry for the sweet taste of
the spirit which brought us here.
Awaiting that which has already been born, yet we long for just the same
And so we live.
To the beat of the waves of the ceaseless sea,
to the rhythm of the stars colliding,
to the sighs of a thousand budding lovers,
the movement of the earth intimately dancing at their feet,
It is time to remember,
time to take hold,
time to walk in the fullness of the sun as the call of all the
worlds take their places inside
and our spirits take flight upon the winds of this days fortune.
There is more…

All that was ever glorious and felt with every beating breath
All that was ever truly believed
All the stories ever written and the truths untold
All that ever mattered
All the days that spread fast across heated red horizons
All the murmurs in the nights and the wails carried over steep mountain passes
All the voices of love lifted over lonely deserts
All the voices that carried the weight of the stones laying dormant beneath the sea
All that ever moved and rocked and folded beneath the stars and her gaze
All that filled and all that emptied
All that washed away with the dripping of the mountain rains-
A rivers deep cut across tomorrow
All the days when we were free and the light shone bright through the oleander and the sweet orange blossoms and the paved streets so white and fleshless and warm
All the thunder that filled the spaces of the heart with such dread and wonder
And the valleys that spread like the open hands of time carrying the scents of dew and mint and morning
All the tender dawns that fille dthe sky pink and glorious and perfectly forgiving
And the rain as it gently washed away the golden season
All the walks through mountain gorges and past the the beckoning voices calling…
And of the days when the freshness was like a burden,
So full the heart of its own longing
And the hunger for flesh and for blood and for winds that never cease,
Listening for the cries of babies and their mothers swollen tears for what they coiuld not do and who they could not be
And the crimson sunsets that edged so closely to the rim of tomorrow but lingered there
With a secret sigh,
Resting softly on the lips of another goodbye
All the mirrors and waterways and the flowers that released the love of their day into the dead end black place of the night
And the women with their furs and the men and their tobacco ashes
Weaving in a standstill in a song that gives no respite from the cold that follows the heart when it has forgotten how to love
And the willows and their broken branches and the irises that bloom in their wake
And all the crazy love songs that mount in the corners of our hearts and rest there until something finally gives and we are taken away….
All the windows left open and the sleight left clean and the glaciers vast melting-
Tears and broken glass
For what are we if not the hope and the majesty of it all?
Flesh and blood and bone of ou ancestors meet us in the day and carry all our sadnesses and sufferings
We are all of this-
The torture and the spring,
The winter and the dawn,
The twilight and what is left when every word has been spoken
